Beckleberry's NOW Available on VIRGIN Airlines!

Award Winning Ice Cream & Sorbet manufacturer Beckleberry’s based in Blaydon, Tyne & Wear are celebrating after securing a lucrative contract to supply Virgin Atlantic Airlines with their gourmet desserts.

All passengers in Virgin’s Premium Economy cabins will now have the opportunity to sample a Beckleberry’s gourmet dessert; the first of which is a light St Clements Mousse garnished with semi candied peel.

Director of Beckleberry’s, Peter Craig said “This is a fantastic opportunity for us as an artisan producer to work with a blue chip company like Virgin and proves we are capable of competing on a national level”.

With their desserts on all Premium Economy flights out of Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester to destinations worldwide, Beckleberry’s are looking forward to the increased exposure for their creations as Peter explained - “Aside from the fact that this is a substantial contract, a listing with such a prestigious customer is perfect to raise our brand awareness within our target audience”

Continuing, Peter added “this large contract with Virgin has created 2 new jobs in our kitchens already allowing us to support the local economy as well as fly the flag for the North East of England as food producers”.
