The Mark Toney ice cream company has made ice cream in Newcastle upon Tyne for over 105 years, and is still owned and run by the Marcantonio family.  Our freshly made ice creams have been enjoyed by generations of visitors to our traditional ice cream parlours and coffee shops in Newcastle.

The quality of our product is of paramount importance to us, so we use only the best quality raw ingredients, including fresh full cream milk and double cream from local farms, and natural fruits and flavourings, to make ice creams which we are proud to say have been loved and enjoyed for over a century.

We have a core range of over 30 flavours of premium quality ice creams and sorbets which you can trust that we will have in stock at all times, plus a changing range of limited edition flavours. We are constantly working on new ice creams, and we can make special flavours to suit customers’ individual needs.

As well as classic flavours such as our still best-selling Traditional Vanilla, our flavours include Sicilian Pistachio, Espresso Amaretto and Hazelnut Rocher.

Our ice creams are available in 120ml, 500ml, 1 litre and 5 litre packs.

For wholesale customers, we deliver free of charge weekly from the Borders to North Yorkshire, and in Newcastle we provide next day, 6 days a week delivery, also free of charge.

For retail customers, you can find our ice creams in many north-east Asdas and Tescos, in Fenwick’s store in Newcastle city centre, and in many delicatessen and grocers. To find out your nearest stockist, or for more details, please contact Anne, Lynn or Anthony at the above address.
