Northumbria Larder’s arrival has been warmly welcomed by tourism bodies, individual hotels and B&B’s, the Regional Development Agency One NorthEast, good food shops and deli’s, and restaurateurs keen to provide visitors with local food of such character and quality they will always remember the experience. It may be a late comer to the formal regional Food & Drink group providers in England, but it represents the keepers of a long and honourable tradition of making some of the finest food to be found anywhere in the country.
